- M.F.Sc., or
- M.Sc. in Marine Biology, or

- M.Sc. in Fisheries Science from a recognized university or institute.
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in Fisheries Research, or
- Relevant work experience in the field of Fisheries (Inland, Marine, or Aquaculture) gained from any of the following:
- Central or State Government Department
- Public Sector Undertaking
- Recognized Research Institute
- Semi-Government, Statutory, or Autonomous Organization
- Private Sector
