IMPORTANT NOTICE – COMBINED HIGHER SECONDARY (10+2) LEVEL EXAMINATION, 2024

  1. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notice for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024 (CHSLE-2024), published on the Commission’s website on 08.04.2024. The CHSLE-2024 (Tier-I) examination was held in Computer-Based Mode from 01.07.2024 to 11.07.2024, with the results for Tier-I declared on 06.09.2024. Subsequently, the CHSLE-2024 (Tier-II) was conducted on 18.11.2024, also in Computer-Based Mode. In addition, the Commission, through a notice dated 26.11.2024, informed candidates that they would be required to submit their Option-cum-Preference for post(s)/department(s) before the declaration of the final result for the exam.
  2. Before the final result is announced, candidates who appeared for the Tier-II examination must submit their Option-cum-Preference(s) for the desired post(s)/department(s). All candidates who appeared in Tier-II are instructed to log in to their Candidate Login on the SSC Headquarters website at https://ssc.gov.in. There, candidates can submit their preferences for post(s)/organization(s) via the “My Application” tab, which will be active during the period from 04.02.2025 (06:00 PM) to 08.02.2025 (11:59 PM). After completing the submission, candidates will receive a confirmation email at their registered email address. It is important to note that physical submission of Option-cum-Preference forms will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  3. Candidates should be aware that the Option-cum-Preference(s) can only be revised within the specified time frame. Once submitted, the last preferences entered will be treated as final. Candidates are strongly encouraged to ensure that they click the “Submit” button after filling out their preferences. Any candidate who does not submit their Option-cum-Preference(s) during the designated period will not be provided any further opportunity to submit them, and such candidates will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list or final selection. Therefore, it is crucial for all Tier-II candidates to exercise their Option-cum-Preference(s) to be considered for the final merit list and selection in CHSLE-2024.
  1. PwBD candidates must ensure that their preferences are for posts identified as suitable for their disabilities. Allocation of posts will be made based on merit-cum-preference in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Examination Notice. If a PwBD candidate is selected for a post not suitable for their disability, their candidature will be canceled by the concerned User Department.
  2. All candidates should verify that they meet the required Physical and Medical Standards for the posts they are applying for before submitting their preference form. If a candidate is selected for a post but later found not to meet the requisite Physical and/or Medical Standards, their candidature may be canceled by the concerned User Department.
  1. It is important to reiterate that no further opportunity will be provided for candidates to submit or revise their Option-cum-Preference(s) beyond the dates mentioned above. Any grievances regarding this process, submitted in any form such as post, fax, email, or in person, will not be entertained by the Commission.
