Preliminary Scrutiny Status of candidates for the vacancies of Rehabilitation Counsellor, post Category No. ER14524.

This is in reference to the recruitment process for the post of Rehabilitation Counsellor in the National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled, Ministry of Labour and Employment, advertised under Post Category No. ER14524 as part of Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts.

Candidates are advised to refer to Advertisement Notice No. Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts dated 26.02.2024, which announced, among other posts, the vacancy for Rehabilitation Counsellor in the National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled.

The Essential Qualification (EQ) required for the position includes:

  1. A Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
  2. Two years of practical experience in fields such as Social Work, Vocational Guidance, or Employment Service.

Crucial Dates for Eligibility

  • The crucial date for determining age limit and possession of Essential Qualifications (EQs)/Experience is 01.01.2024.
  • The crucial date for claiming SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM status and reservation, if not otherwise specified, will be the closing date for submission of online applications, i.e., 18.03.2024.

Scrutiny Process and Provisional Status

The scrutiny of applications and supporting documents, uploaded by candidates provisionally qualified in the Computer-Based Mode (CBM) Examination for Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts, has been completed for the Rehabilitation Counsellor post. This scrutiny was based on the candidates’ Essential Qualifications and other relevant recruitment conditions outlined in the Advertisement Notice.

The preliminary scrutiny status of the candidates is attached in ANNEXURE. Please note that the list is provisional and subject to change due to genuine reasons such as clarification from the User/Indenting Department, submission of an equivalence certificate, or any errors in the scrutiny data.

Representation and Grievance Submission

Candidates who have objections regarding their ineligibility or the grounds for rejection, as stated in their provisional scrutiny status, can submit their grievance or representation. To do so, they must send their concerns along with supporting documents via email to the Regional Office at recttsscer.wb-dopt@gov.in. The deadline for submitting grievances is 26.01.2025 (23:00 hours). Candidates must mention their Roll No., Registration No., and Post Code in the subject line, along with self-attested supporting documents.

Important: Any representation received after the deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.

Non-Consideration of Incomplete Applications

It is important to note that candidates who have provisionally qualified in the CBM Examination but failed to upload their applications, along with the necessary certificates supporting their Age, Essential Qualifications, etc., by the stipulated deadline of 24.09.2024, have not been considered for the recruitment process.
