The e-Admission Certificates for the CGL Examination 2024 (Tier-2) have been made available for download starting 14th January 2025, as per the notice issued on 08th January 2025. These certificates follow the standard format and include general information and instructions that apply to both Paper-I and Paper-II of the examination.

  1. Examination Details:
Candidates are informed that the examination date is prominently displayed in the upper-left corner of the e-Admission Certificate. Additionally, the examination date(s), timing, and venue are mentioned in a section directly below the candidateā€™s address. These details are essential for candidates to verify. The section after the contact number and regional office email contains general instructions applicable to all candidates appearing for the SSC CGL Examination 2024 (Tier-2). A sample e-Admission Certificate with these details has been enclosed for reference.
  2. Important Clarifications Regarding e-Admission Certificates of SSC CGL Examination 2024 (Tier-2):
Candidates should pay particular attention to the following clarifications and updates regarding the instructions in their e-Admission Certificates:

    • Point No. 20 (Duration of Examination) on Page 3:
The original instruction should be understood as follows:
“During the first hour of actual examination, candidates will not be allowed to leave for a toilet break. However, with the invigilatorā€™s permission, candidates may visit the toilet before the exam begins, if necessary.”
    • Points No. 10, 11, & 12 (Navigating Through Sections) on Page 4:
Candidates should note that Section I, II, and III of Session-I of Paper-I will appear in the listed order. Once the time for a section has ended, candidates will not be permitted to revisit or modify answers in previous sections. It is important for candidates to complete each section within its allotted time.

Candidates eligible for compensatory time should revisit the Commissionā€™s website and the relevant examination notice for specific instructions. Based on these updates, candidates are advised to download and print their e-Admission Certificate once more to ensure they have the most accurate and up-to-date information.

  3. In Case of Discrepancy or Confusion:
If candidates notice any discrepancies or are unclear about any details in their e-Admission Certificate, they should refer to the Notice of Examination dated 24th June 2024. This notice will take precedence over any conflicting information in the e-Admission Certificate. Candidates are encouraged to consult the notice for guidance.

In conclusion, candidates must carefully review their e-Admission Certificate, ensure all information is accurate, and refer to the official notices to resolve any doubts. By doing so, candidates can ensure a smooth examination experience for the CGL Examination 2024 (Tier-2).
