The preliminary scrutiny status of candidates for the recruitment to 04 vacancies (02-UR, 01-ST, 01-OBC) of Primary Teacher in the Farakka Barrage Project, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, has been released. These vacancies were advertised under Post Category No. ER15524 as part of Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts.

Candidates are requested to refer to the Advertisement Notice No. Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts, dated 26.02.2024, which details the recruitment for the position of Primary Teacher in the Farakka Barrage Project.

Essential Qualifications (EQ) for the Primary Teacher position are as follows:

(A)

• (i) Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education from a recognized institution, OR
• (ii) Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in education from a recognized institution, OR
• (iii) Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.ELED) from a recognized institution, OR
• (iv) Graduation from a recognized university and a 2-year diploma in elementary education from a recognized institution.

(B)

• (i) Passing the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), as conducted by the relevant government, in line with the National Council for Teachers Education guidelines.

(C)

• The candidate must have studied Bengali as a subject up to the 10th standard.

Crucial Dates:

• The crucial date for determining age limit and possession of Essential Qualifications (EQs)/Experience is 01.01.2024 and 18.03.2024, respectively.
• The crucial date for claiming SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM status and reservation, where applicable, is the closing date for online application submission, which is 18.03.2024.

Preliminary Scrutiny Status:

Following the scrutiny of documents submitted by candidates who were provisionally qualified in the Computer-Based Mode (CBM) Examination for Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts for the Primary Teacher post, based on their Essential Qualifications and other relevant recruitment conditions as per the Advertisement Notice, the preliminary scrutiny status has been compiled. The status is available in the ANNEXURE. Please note that this list is provisional and may be corrected due to valid reasons such as clarifications from the User/Indenting Department, submission of equivalence certificates, or errors in scrutiny data.

Grievances/Representations:

Candidates who have submitted their documents through the official online portal on the SSC website by the specified deadline of 24.09.2024 and wish to raise objections regarding their eligibility or grounds for rejection may submit their grievances. Representations should be sent via email to recttsscer.wbdopt@gov.in no later than 01.02.2025 (23:00 hours). All representations must include the candidate’s Roll No., Registration No., Post Code, and self-attested supporting documents. Any representation received after the deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.

Important Note:

Candidates who were provisionally qualified in the CBM Examination but failed to upload their applications and the necessary supporting documents (such as proof of Age, EQ, etc.) by the deadline of 24.09.2024 have not been considered for this recruitment.
