Candidates are advised to refer to Advertisement Notice No. Phase-X/2022/Selection Posts, dated 12.05.2022, which announced the recruitment for the post of Senior Technical Assistant (Drawing) under Post Category No. WR11922 in the Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines, Nagpur.

Vacancy Details:

A total of 17 vacancies were advertised, distributed as follows:

  • UR – 7
  • OBC – 5
  • SC – 3
  • ST – 1
  • EWS – 1
    (Among these, one post was reserved for OH candidates.)

Essential Qualification (EQ) Requirements:

Candidates were required to meet one of the following qualification criteria:

Option 1:
(i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
(ii) One year of experience in geo-referencing, digitization, and the preparation of maps and layouts using Geographic Information System (GIS) or Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) software.

Option 2:
(i) A Three-year Diploma in Mining, Civil, Mechanical, or Survey Engineering from a recognized board or technical institution.
(ii) Three years of experience in geo-referencing, digitization, and map preparation using GIS or CAD software.

The Additional Result-11 for this recruitment was officially declared on 17.10.2024.

List of Ineligible Candidates:

During the scrutiny of hard copies of applications and supporting documents submitted by candidates who were provisionally qualified in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) conducted from 01.08.2022 to 05.08.2022, certain candidates were found ineligible. The rejection of these applications was based on specific reasons, which are detailed against their respective names in the official list.

Important Notice for Candidates Regarding Recruitment Consideration

1️⃣ Candidates who did not qualify in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) but have submitted hard copies of their applications along with supporting documents will not be considered for the ongoing recruitment process. Only those who have successfully cleared the CBE are eligible for further evaluation.

2️⃣ If any candidate listed above meets the prescribed Essential Qualification (EQ) criteria but has been mistakenly excluded, they may submit a representation via email only to spsscwr@gmail.com. The subject line of the email should be formatted as:
“Representation for Recruitment to the Post of …….. Phase-X/2022”
The email must include complete details regarding the candidate’s qualifications to support their eligibility claim.

Deadline: All representations must be submitted no later than 17th February 2025 (5:00 PM). After the scrutiny process is finalized, an updated list of provisionally eligible candidates and rejected candidates will be published on the official website.

3️⃣ Only email representations will be accepted—requests submitted via any other mode (post, phone calls, or in-person visits) will not be entertained.

4️⃣ Late submissions will not be considered under any circumstances. Ensure that your representation is sent within the specified deadline to be reviewed.
