CAT 2025 Response Sheet & Answer Key Out — Here’s How to Download PDF

On December 4, 2025, IIM Kozhikode (IIMCAT) released the official response sheet and provisional answer key for CAT 2025.

What Has Been Released

Individual response sheets for all test-takers (slot wise: Slot 1, Slot 2 and Slot 3) — showing the answers you marked during the exam.
Provisional official answer key (slot-wise), enabling candidates to check the correct answers.

This allows aspirants to compare their responses with official answers and roughly estimate performance before the final results.

Why It Matters

You get to see exactly what you marked in the exam — helps in self-analysis.
By comparing with the official answer key, you can calculate an estimated raw score and predict your probable percentile (until final results come).
If you find any discrepancies in the provisional answer key, you have a chance to raise challenge/objections (see below).

How to Download CAT 2025 Response Sheet & Answer Key

Go to the official CAT website: iimcat.ac.in.
Click on “Candidate Login / Response Sheet / Answer Key”.
Enter your registration number (CAT ID) and password.
Once logged in, you will find links for your slot-wise Response Sheet and the Provisional Answer Key PDF(s). Click to download.
Save the PDF for future reference (score calculation, objections, etc.).

Objection Window & What to Do If You Disagree

The provisional answer key / response sheet is provisional — you can raise objections if you believe any question or answer has error.
For CAT 2025: the objection window will open 8 December 2025, and remain open until 10 December 2025.
To file an objection: log in, go to the “Objection” / “Challenge” section, select the question(s), provide justification and submit (as per official instructions).

How to Estimate Your Score & What Next

Once you have both your responses and the official key:

Use the official marking scheme (correct: +3; wrong MCQ: –1; depending on question type) to calculate your raw score.
Based on raw score + normalization (since CAT 2025 was conducted across 3 slots), you can estimate a likely percentile — many coaching-platforms may publish “score vs percentile” predictions soon.
Wait for final answer key (post-objection resolution) and official result declaration — only then the percentile and further shortlists will be formally published.
