- Domicile Requirement
Only candidates who are domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible. A valid domicile certificate must be issued before the last date of application.
- Educational Qualification
Aspirants must have:
- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university
- Minimum 50% marks for Open Merit, and 45% marks for Reserved Categories
- Candidates with PG (50% marks) or PhD are also eligible
- Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
- OM Category: 40 years
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/RBA/OBC/ALC/IB/EWS): 43 years
- PwBD: 42 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 48 years
Vacancy Breakup
A total of 600 vacancies are distributed across categories including OM, SC, ST-1, ST-2, OBC, RBA, ALC/IB, and EWS.
These posts fall under Level-5 pay scale (₹29,200–₹92,300).
Selection Process
The selection will be based solely on a written OMR-based examination.
