About the Opportunity

The CCI has released 14 vacancies under its Young Professional category:

  • Law: 9 posts
  • Economics: 1 post
  • Information Technology (IT): 4 posts

These positions are contractual, offered initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and institutional needs.

 

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹60,000, with a 10% annual increment for each completed year. Though contractual, the exposure at CCI provides valuable insights into real-world issues like market competition, mergers, pricing structures, and regulatory enforcement all of which strengthen one’s analytical and policy acumen.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Law Stream: LL.B or equivalent from a recognized university, preferably with experience in litigation, corporate law, or regulatory work.
  • Economics Stream: Master’s degree in Economics, Industrial Organisation, or related fields with strong research or data analysis background.
  • IT Stream: B.Tech, B.E., or M.Tech in Computer Science/IT, or MCA from a recognized institute. Candidates with certifications in cybersecurity or data systems will be preferred.
  • Age Limit: Not more than 30 years as of the closing date of application.
