Eligibility Criteria of ESIC Nursing Officer;

i) B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognised University of Institute; or Regular course in B.Sc.
Nursing from a recognized University or Institute or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized
University or Institute.

ii) Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife (registered Nurse or registered Nurse & registered
Mid-wife) with State Nursing council.

Or,

i) Diploma in General Nursing Mid-Wifery from a recongised Board of Council.

ii) Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife (registered Nurse or registered Nurse & registered
Midwife) with State Nursing Council.

iii) One year experience in minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification at
(B) (i) above.

1. Scheme

i) The test will be of two hours duration

ii) All questions will carry equal marks.

iii) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer.

iv) The medium of the test will be English.

v) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of
one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question,
there will be no penalty for that question.
