The recruitment process for 16 vacancies for the post of Instructor/Instructor Ladakh Crafts across various crafts such as Garments, Wood Carving, Carpet Making, Carpentry, Silver Filigree, Namda, Papu Shoe Making, Embroidery, Knitting, Hosiery Making, and Dyeing Master Ladakh has reached its provisional selection stage. These Group ‘C’, Technical positions fall under the Level-6 Pay Matrix within the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, as announced through Post Category No. NW21423 under Advertisement No. Selection Post/Ladakh/2023.

The 16 vacancies include 07 for Unreserved (UR), 08 for Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 01 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates, along with 01 vacancy reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and 01 for Visually Handicapped (VH) candidates.

The selection of candidates for these posts is based on their performance in the Computer Based Examination (CBE) conducted from 27th June to 30th June 2023, followed by the Document Verification (DV) process in June and July 2024. The list of provisionally selected candidates for the appointment has been published.

For other candidates who appeared for the exam, their marks will be made available on the official Commission’s website once the results for all advertised categories under the Selection Post/Ladakh/2023 Examination are finalized.

It is important to note that this selection list is provisional and may be subject to revisions if any valid concerns arise. The final appointment is contingent upon eligibility verification, scrutiny of essential qualifications, and validation of the candidate’s category by the Appointing Authority.
