NIPTA aims to create a unified benchmark for assessing students’ internship performance, employability skills, and industry readiness. The initiative will help institutions and employers evaluate talent more effectively, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world workplace skills.

How It Works: From Training to Opportunity

  1. Enroll in NIPTA
Students meeting eligibility register and gain access to free training resources.
  2. Complete the 10–12 Week Training
Modules include lectures, practice problems, mock tests — covering key technical and soft-skills.
  3. Appear for the Proctored Exam
A 3-hour test held at designated centres, with objective evaluation.
  4. Receive IIT Madras Certificate
Based on your performance, you get a certificate that indicates your strengths and areas for improvement.
  5. Connect with Employers
NIPTA plans to host a National Job & Internship Mela (virtual or physical) in early 2026, linking certified students with recruiters
