NEET SS 2025: Registration Begins, Exam Dates, Eligibility & Full Schedule

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has started the registration process for NEET Super Specialty (NEET-SS) 2025, the single national entrance test for DM, MCh, and DrNB super-specialty courses across India.

  • Edit window (details): November 28 – 30
  • Edit window (photo/sign/thumb): December 12 – 14
  • City intimation slip: December 12
  • Admit card release: December 22
  • Exam dates: December 26 – 27, 2025
  • Result declaration: By end of January 2026
  • Application fee: ₹3,500
  • Exam mode: Computer-based test across India

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold or be expected to hold by January 31, 2026 a recognised postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB) or an equivalent qualification in the eligible feeder specialty.

Qualifying Criteria

  • Minimum requirement: 50th percentile or above in respective question paper group.
  • No re-evaluation/re-checking requests will be accepted.

 What is NEET-SS?

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Specialty is the only valid exam for admission to DM, MCh, and DrNB programs as per the National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
No other state or institutional exam is accepted.

 Steps to Apply

  1. Visit natboard.edu.in
  2. Click on NEET-SS 2025 Notification
  3. Create a new user account
  4. Log in and fill in the application form
  5. Upload documents, photograph, and signature
  6. Pay ₹3,500 via online payment
  7. Review and submit the form

 Exam Pattern (Expected)

  • Duration: 150 minutes
  • Questions: 150 MCQs
  • Marking: +4 for correct, –1 for incorrect, 0 for unattempted
  • Sessions: Two sessions – Morning (9 AM – 11:30 AM) | Afternoon (2 PM – 4:30 PM)
