The UPSC has officially declared the result of the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025. Exam dates: 22 August to 31 August 2025.

Result Date: 11 November 2025.

Qualified candidates will now move to the Personality Test (Interview) stage.

A total of 14,161 candidates qualified for the Mains stage from the Prelims 2025.
After the Mains exam, approximately 2,736 candidates have been shortlisted for the Interview/Personality Test.
The result is available in PDF format, listing roll-numbers (and in some cases names) of the qualified candidates.

How to Check the Result

Go to the UPSC official website: upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in The Indian Express+1
Navigate to “Examinations” → “Written Results” → “Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025”.
Download the PDF file of the result.
Use the “Ctrl + F” (Find) function to search for your roll number or name in the document.

Next Step: Personality Test / Interview

For General category, expected cut-off range for Mains 2025 are around 720-735 marks.
Past years:
- 2024: General – 729 marks.
- 2023: General – 741 marks.
