Preliminary Scrutiny Status of candidates for the vacancies of Botanical Assistant, Post Category No. ER11224.

The preliminary scrutiny status has been released for the recruitment of 17 vacancies (07-UR, 01-ST, 02-SC, 05-OBC, 02-EWS) for the post of Botanical Assistant in the Botanical Survey of India, which functions under the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change. Scrutiny of Documents

The documents submitted by candidates who provisionally qualified in the Computer-Based Mode (CBM) Examination for Phase-XII/2024 were reviewed based on:

• Other recruitment terms and conditions as outlined in the Advertisement Notice.

The preliminary scrutiny status of these candidates has been compiled and is attached as ANNEXURE.

Provisional Nature of the List

The list is provisional and may be revised if valid reasons arise, including:

• Clarifications sought from the User/Indenting Department.
• Submission of equivalence certificates.
• Errors identified during scrutiny or data entry.

Representations and Grievances

Candidates who uploaded their documents through the online portal by the stipulated date (24.09.2024) and wish to contest their ineligibility or grounds for rejection may submit a representation. To do so, they must:

• Send their grievance via email to recttsscer.wb-dopt@gov.in by 27.01.2025 (23:00 hours).
• Include their Roll Number, Registration Number, and Post Code in the email.
• Attach self-attested copies of relevant supporting documents.

Note: Representations received after the deadline will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Important Notice for Non-Compliant Candidates

Candidates who qualified provisionally in the CBM Examination but failed to upload their application forms and certificates (e.g., age proof, EQ documents, etc.) by the deadline of 24.09.2024 have not been considered for further stages of recruitment.
