Preliminary Scrutiny Status for Recruitment of Compositor in Anthropological Survey of India

The preliminary scrutiny status of candidates has been released for the recruitment of one vacancy (01-UR) for the post of Compositor in the Anthropological Survey of India, under the Ministry of Culture. This recruitment was advertised under Post Category No. ER11024 as part of the Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts.

1. Educational Qualification: Matriculation or an equivalent qualification.
2. Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in composition and proof correction in:
   • English
   • Hindi
   • Or one of the regional languages used in printing by the press.
3. Experience or Certification:
   • A certificate of successful completion of Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (52 of 1961), OR
   • At least three years of experience in the relevant trade.

Crucial Dates for Eligibility Determination for Compositor Anthropological Post Category No. ER11024

1. The cut-off date for determining the age limit and possession of Essential Qualifications (EQs)/Experience was 01.01.2024 and 18.03.2024, respectively.
2. The date for claiming reservations (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM) was aligned with the closing date for online application submission, i.e., 18.03.2024, unless otherwise specified.

Scrutiny of Applications

The documents uploaded by candidates who provisionally qualified in the Computer-Based Mode (CBM) Examination for Phase-XII/2024/Selection Posts were scrutinized. This evaluation was conducted based on the Essential Qualifications and other recruitment criteria outlined in the Advertisement Notice.

The preliminary scrutiny status of these candidates has been compiled and is included in the ANNEXURE.

• The list is provisional and may be subject to corrections due to valid reasons, including clarifications from the User/Indenting Department, submission of equivalence certificates, or rectification of errors in scrutiny or data processing.

Guidelines for Representations

Candidates who submitted their documents via the online web portal at https://ssc.gov.in by the deadline of 24.09.2024 and have objections regarding their rejection or ineligibility may file grievances. Such grievances must include:

• Roll Number
• Registration Number
• Post Code
• Self-attested supporting documents.

These representations must be sent via email to recttsscer.wb-dopt@gov.in by 25.01.2025 (23:00 hours). Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered under any circumstances.

Important Note

Candidates who were provisionally qualified in the CBM Examination but failed to upload their applications along with the required certificates (supporting age, qualifications, etc.) by the stipulated deadline of 24.09.2024 have not been considered for this recruitment process.
