Chandrayaan 3 Update, Live News, Landing Date On Moon, Live Tracker
Exploring the Moon has always captured our imagination, and with Chandrayaan 3, India’s latest space mission, we’re getting closer than ever before. In this article, we’ll bring you the latest updates, live news, and the exciting landing date on the Moon. Plus, we’ve got a live tracker to follow the spacecraft’s journey. Let’s dive into the world of Chandrayaan 3 and its remarkable adventure!
Chandrayaan 3 Update
India’s ambitious Chandrayaan-3 mission is making its way around the Moon smoothly, with the exciting aim of landing on its surface. Launched on July 14, 2023, from Sriharikota’s Satish Dhawan Space Center, the spacecraft has safely entered the Moon’s orbit and is getting closer to its surface. Currently, Chandrayaan-3 is about 1,437 kilometers away from the Moon. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has been guiding the spacecraft using clever maneuvers, like the Lunar Orbit Insertion done on August 5th.
Chandrayaan 3 Live News
Chandrayaan-3, India’s special spaceship, is moving towards its goal of being 100 kilometers close to the Moon by August 16. Then, the part that makes it move, called the Propulsion Module, will say goodbye to the Lander and prepare to touch down on the Moon. This mission has two main jobs: to show how to safely land on the Moon and to use a small robot car for about 14 days. This little robot car is very light, only weighing 26 kilograms, and it will do cool science tests to learn about the Moon’s history, rocks, and things we can use there.
Chandrayaan 3 Overview
Aspect | Details |
---|---|

Mission Confidence | ISRO Chief’s confidence |
Chandrayaan-3 has three parts to its journey: going away from Earth, flying to the Moon, and getting even closer to it. The spaceship has already gone around Earth five times and started its trip to the Moon. On August 14, it will make its path smaller. If everything goes well, Chandrayaan-3 will do something super important for India’s space plans. It will show that it’s possible to do space missions that don’t cost too much but still work great. The leader of ISRO, S Somanath, is really sure this mission will work because the smart people who make plans have learned from the past and fixed any problems. Chandrayaan-3 is getting closer to its dream, and when it gets there, India will leave a special mark on the Moon.
ISRO Chandrayaan 3 Live Tracker
Chandrayaan-3, India’s spacecraft, began its journey on July 14 with the LVM3-M4 rocket launch. In just 17 minutes, it reached its intended orbit. Afterward, on July 17, a successful orbit-raising maneuver was completed, placing the spacecraft in a 41603 x 226 km orbit. On July 18, the third orbit-raising maneuver occurred between 2 to 3 pm IST. After five maneuvers, the satellite will head toward Lunar Orbit Insertion, a step achieved recently. Chandrayaan-3 is on its third moon orbit and will soon complete it. Its current distance from the moon is 174 km, achieved by slowing down its speed through lunar orbits.

Chandrayaan 3 Landing
The soft landing attempt on the moon’s surface, planned by ISRO, involves carefully reducing the satellite’s speed. This complex process ensures the safety of various subsystems, including navigation sensors and propulsion systems, as Chandrayaan-3 progresses toward its remarkable soft landing goal.
Chandrayaan 3 Landing Date
Chandrayaan-3, India’s ambitious lunar mission, is set to achieve a significant milestone with its planned landing on the Moon. The anticipated landing date for Chandrayaan-3 is August 23, 2023. This date marks the culmination of meticulous planning, engineering, and scientific endeavors by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). If successful, Chandrayaan-3’s soft landing on the lunar surface will not only contribute valuable insights into the Moon’s composition and history but also solidify India’s position among the select few countries that have achieved controlled lunar landings. As the world watches with anticipation, this momentous event holds the promise of expanding our understanding of the Moon and advancing India’s space exploration endeavors.
Chandrayaan 3 Moon Image
Chandrayaan-3 is set to capture and transmit moon images back to Earth. Once the spacecraft reaches the moon’s surface, it will utilize its onboard devices to capture detailed images of the lunar terrain. These images will be shared by ISRO, offering insights into the moon’s features and aiding in scientific exploration.
