Sikkim Flash Floods Updates: 8 main bridges have been destroyed; 1500 people have experienced damage and all public sectors are currently shut down

The Teesta river experienced a flash flood on Tuesday night due to an unforeseen cloudburst  over Lhonak Lake in North Sikkim. As a result, 23 army combatants went missing and extensive damage was caused.
